patty, it was good to see you again last weekend...i will never forget, and will always remember.

Haven't told a Dave Kempner story since last weekend...always on my mind and in my thoughts, especially this time of year.

I still think about Dave and his competitive spirit on the golf course. For all the senior golfers out there who lament the declining skills that come with old age, remember Dave and smile when you make that occasional three putt. He was rooting for you.

I will never forget all of the great golfing trips that we shared, and all of our matches...won some, lost some, but always best friends.

I only recently learned of Dave's passing. He and I were colleagues at PSED years ago and shared, among other things, a mutual love of music, especially the blues.

I can't recall a day when his smile or laugh didn't help brighten our office.

I am so disappointed that I wasn't able to attend the service and express my condolences in person.

Patty I just learned of cousin Dave's passing. As you know Dave and I shared the same birthday, but one year apart and that has created an affinity between us since we were little boys living in Levittown and Valley Stream respectively. I cherished many e-mails with David discussing family history and events, as well as topics of the day. And of course golf- and the home and home golf trips were truly wonderful times. Sorry for your loss. I attended Livingston High School with Dave and I am glad he had such a full and happy life. R.I.P.

Thank you, Dave, for your kindness and for helping grow the game of golf. I was fortunate enough to represent Washtenaw county and compete in WGA county matches that Dave set up between neighboring counties in SE Michigan. I'll always remember him as a happy and passionate soul.
