Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry for your loss. Mr. Kent was one of my very favorites as my ceramics teacher. I still love it. I still remember him singing opera or meowing in the shop, as he admired our work or asked about it. I meow too on occasion when I´m feeling a little silly. :). He will be sorely missed. I feel so grateful for knowing him.

I am sorry for your loss. To his wife and children thank for sharing him with us. He made life much easier for some of us as teenagers. Mr. Kent was my teacher in 7th, 8th, 9th grade and I was a teacher aid for him in 10th grade. I always looked forward to going to his class. His humor and his positive outlook on life rubbed off on all of us. Sir thank you for caring enough to be our teacher.

Dave Kent was a very influential teacher in my life. He always respected me as a person not just a student and we shared many wonderful conversations. Creativity was greatly encouraged and appreciated. I think of him often with great fondness.

Sad to hear. Mr Kent was always such a bright and positive perso n & teacher. Mr Fitch also passed recently. RIP

Mr. Kent was the coolest teacher at EGHS, had him for ceramics. My mom still has the vases I made in his class. RIP Mr. Kent

What a wonderful teacher. My 7th period ceramics teacher. Also had both of my sons during their time at EGHS. Once he met you, he never forgot your name. RIP Mr. Kent. The world was a better place with you in it.

Mr. Kent was the best teacher anyone could have. He was always there to help and listen to you.

Inspired so many, loved by all. I still have my ceramic bowls to this day, 35 years later. Condolences to the Kent family. RIP.

I was saddened today after some research to find this. A Beloved Teacher, Instructor and Friend. Out of all the Fine Teachers I had at Elk Grove Schools over the years this man meant the most to me. He exposed me and others to the painter VINCENT VAN GOGH which included a field trip to San Francisco to see some of the artists paintings. Starry Starry Night my good friend and mentor.
