Not sure what to say?

The world has lost one of the good ones far too soon. So gifted. As I read all that has been written by the many whose lives were touched by David, it occurs to me that one of the reasons that he had so many stories to share was because of the fullness with which he lived his life. As I sit looking out at the ancestors of the llama who was part of the 'llama whisperer' story, the deep sadness that I feel is softened by dear memories of time spent long ago with David and my family. I still...

My heart felt condolences to all the lucky people who had the privledge of knowing this wonderful humanbeing.

Dave and I rarely agreed on anything other than the fact that The Sopranos was a show worth watching. Even that concession didn't come easy for Dave but eventually he gave in and I'll have to admit that it felt good to finally win him over to my side just one time for our discussions were many and Dave always made some interesting points whether he was familiar with the subject or not. I'll always remember the wonderful (though oftentimes unusual) meals Dave proudly cooked for us all and the...

I'm so very sorry for your loss! I spoke to Dave many times over the years, usually in the wee hours of the morning, trying to help a client. He was smart, witty, compassionate, and a great guy! May perpetual light shine upon him, and may he rest in peace!

Such sad news! Dave worked with me on my first overnight at BHN Crisis years ago- I will always remember how funny he was, and how much he taught me. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I remember David very fondly.

Oh Dave, no fair, going so fast and not saying goodbye. I am devastated to learn of the loss of my dear dear friend. I wish I made the time to reconnect with him over the last year. I just assumed that when I got around to picking up the phone, we would talk and it would be like no time had gone by at all. Dave was a very special person who helped so many others over the years. He had the largest vocabulary of anyone I every met, I often wondered if he carried a dictionary in his pocket just...
