Not sure what to say?

Elaine and family,

My heart goes out to you all in your moment of grief. Having lost my father suddenly in 2004, I can appreciate the pain you must be feeling. May you find comfort in your memories as you celebrate David's life.

My thoughts are with you and everyone who is grieving your loss.

Tracy, I am so sorry to hear about your dad.....I know what you are going through as we have just done this with my wife's mother. My prayers are with you and your family. David Blackston

Kienitz family,

You have my deepest sympathies for your loss. I met David (Mr. Kienitz to me) many times, and knew him as a kind and gentle man who always had a smile on his face. I never heard him utter a harsh word, nor heard a harsh word spoken about him.

Of all my friends' parents, he was the one I admired and respected most. He was brilliant, but humble, and always ready with a pithy remark and a twinkle in his eye.

I am certain he will be greatly missed by all...

Tracy, Steve, and Elaine,

We are so sorry to learn of your dad and husband's passing. Our families had many good times over the years, growing-up together, door knocking, Hale/Field school issues, and sneaking "schmedley's" at the Eian's.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We will miss David.

Elaine-
I am so sorry to hear the news about Dave's passing....he was a great guy, a great boss and a great friend. I will always remember the laugh...and the smile with a twinkle of mischief!!

Mom and Sarah both worked for him at the Lamb Shope and enjoyed it... and the sweaters were nice too!!

Good bye to Dave, along with Kay and Marilyn...my mentors!
