David was the manager of the Home Depot store in Sheridan, where I worked for a while. His leadership, character, and humor are what I will always remember of this good man. Jack Livingston

What an incredible loss to alot of people. I went to school with David in Paonia off and on since I move and came back several different times . I can't say I was in his closest circle of friends , we shared the same birthday 11/16/1970 so as very young kids we always brought goodies to school to share . I can say whether I was just moving back or on the occassins we did hang out he always he treated me like I was a close friend. The last time I saw David was in Home Depot in Grand Junction...

Dave always made a point to check in with me to say hello. I never worked directly for him, but he made me feel like I was a part of his team. He had a lot of responsibilities in his leadership roles, but he showed me that taking time for people is most important. He was always so positive and loving. He always spoke so lovingly of his family. I´ll never forget the way he made me feel valued. Well done my friend. Sincere Condolences, Dave Rivera
