Not sure what to say?

I have just learned of Dave's passing. He was a great spirit, a friend and colleague and will be missed. My thoughts are with the Kirwan family. I am thankful for having known Dave.

Although it has been a few years since I last saw Dave, he was great colleague and Go Train buddy with the best sense of humor. I will miss him. My sincere condolences.

Rest in peace Dave. You will be missed. I am glad that we were working together in the last project. You are a visionary and we will miss your guidance and mentorship.

My deepest condolences to the Kirwan family. As mentioned by others, his expertise, guidance and willingness to listen will be missed by many of his friends within CIBC and outside the bank. Rest in peace.

Writing on Dave's wall is a privilege for me and Dave's partnership, experience and wit will be greatly missed. Keeping the entire Kirwan Family in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days, Michelle.

Our deepest condolences to your family. We are thinking of you and wishing you strength during this difficult time.

Sandra, Alyssa, Daniel, and Stephanie Baldin

Steve, thinking of you and your family at this time. May your strength of faith help you through .

My sincere condolences to the Kirwan family. Dave will be missed. Smart, passionate, always willing to listen. Worked under him twice and each time his presence made the team better. Never forget how he joked and made me feel welcome in Registered Products back in 2002. Rest in peace Dave!

I will miss your expertise, guidance, wisdom and sense of humour at work - you were my favorite "go to guy" Dave, always willing to help. You will be greatly missed
