Not sure what to say?

We have been very fortunate to have had Dave in our lives...Dave was in our wedding, and my husband was in his and Tricia's. We have touched base several times over the past years since we held a going away party in Indy for Dave & Tricia when they moved to Oregon. Those times of getting together were just a continuation of our friendship, complete comfort. We have had many good laughs, now we are including those along with the tears. We will miss Kitch so very very much, but know that he...

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this sad time. May your happy memories keep Dave alive in your hearts.

I was a classmate of Dave in grade school and he was always behind me due to alphabetical order, so I, too, have memories to keep him alive. I was so sad to hear of his passing. May God bless all of you and may it help to know how many people he touched . He will be sadly missed by every one of them.

We were very said to hear of Dave's passing. He touched our family in so many ways. He worked with my parents, The Kitchell's were our nieghbors before they moved to Oak Knoll. And he was my track couch many years ago. And he was apart of many family members since then. To sum it up he was a great one of a kind friend, coach, teacher and man. I am really sad that he will not be at the high school next year to coach my son who loves to play defence. My heart goes out to Trisha, Brian, and...

I attended the memorial in Ashland on 11-25-2007. There were hundreds and hundreds of people there, but still only a smattering of the lives Dave Kitchell touched. My daughter was in his 5th grade class this year and in his 3rd grade class two years ago. Much has been made - rightly - of the contribution Dave made on the football field in helping our Ashland boys become men. But, as a parent of a young child he taught, I don't want it to go unsaid that what I appreciated most about the man...

I am not surprised that you were such a positive influence on and touched so many lives. The memories of us as tennis teammates (& doubles partners), Dailey Hall dorm mates, and as members of our "Undefeated, Untied, & Un-Scored-Upon" flag football team are great; but what meant the most to me was how you were there for me when my mother died in 1976. It is a great comfort to me to know you are both with God in heaven helping Him with His plan for mankind.

My heart goes out to the entire Kitchell family. I was a student of Mr. Kitchell's in the 6th grade... and Mrs. Kitchell was my volleyball coach. I will cherish the memories of him for years to come. God bless you all!

I was a classmate of Dave's at HHS. Please know that you are in my prayers for strength, comfort, and encouragement. May your tears and grief soon turn to sweet memories which bring you joy and peace. God bless you.

We send our deepest condolences to the Kitchell Family. We know what you are going through and you are not alone.
All of our prayers and thoughts are with you during this time.

To the Kitchell Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
