David A. Knack
1943-2018
Beloved father, grandfather and friend David A. Knack known to many as "Nick" passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the age of 74 just shy of his 75th birthday.
David was born on September 20, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, and has called Texas his home since 1981. He is preceded in death by his parents Ann and Albert Knack, and his wife Sandra Knack. David leaves behind his four children, Angel Guzman, Dawn Fitzgerald, Kim Kessler, and Jeff Knack, his sisters Joan Meyer and Beverly Gazley, as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
David was a successful salesman in the automobile industry for well over 30 years in the Houston area. He loved his daily routine as a 'gym rat" as they call it, working out at the YMCA and visiting with his many friends. David, Dad/Papa was an amazing man who was very charismatic, caring and compassionate, one who never failed to make you laugh. Everyone he touched was drawn to him.
David will be dearly missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
A memorial service will be held on October 3, 2018, at 10:30 am, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, TX 77024; with a reception immediately following in the Church Community Center.

The FTD Gentle Blossoms Basket

Dave was a great co-worker, and someone i truly respected. Rarely have i known a more beloved husband, a more devoted father, or a more dedicated family man. I grieved at the news of his passing, but I take comfort in knowing that he has, by the grace of a merciful God, been reunited with his precious wife, and that he rests in the arms of the Lord.
RIP, "Nick"
