Not sure what to say?

As a Mello Dear I remember Mr. Knight exactly as you described in his obit! He was an excellent driver, keeping all of the corps members safe. His smile was infectious and uplifting. May he RIP after a well lived life. God Bless all family and friends.

Dave was a wonderful man. He loved his family and dearly loved the lord. Condolences to his family. I ll always remember him saying to us don't keep your shop open on Saturday because next thing you know you will work Sunday. That he said would be wrong because you can't get time back with your family.

I Had the pleasure to work with dave at Walmart. He was a great person. After he retired I would make sure when he came in that he had electric cart to ride and found what he needed. Dave will be missed. RIP

I am so saddened to see this post. My late husband, Dale Wales, always spoke so highly of Dave. Whenever we ran into him at Walmart they always had a great laugh! My condolences to the family. I’m sure Dale and Dave are having the laugh of a lifetime in Heaven. ❤

Seeing Dave made any bad day good with that smile! I used to volunteer at Apalachin Fireman Field Days and I remember him bringing Vivian down every night for supper and they would sit at the table and countless number of people would stop and chat with them. As many have said going to Walmart and seeing Dave just made my day!!
I’m sorry for your loss - hold your memories close and they will help you through the rough days ahead.

Dear family, I remember going to Dave's gas station for a PeeWee soda and peanuts from the peanut machine. What a treat that was! As I grew older I remember him as a really great man with a contagious smile. He will always be remembered as someone who was always kind and unselfish, and knowing him was was a special gift. I'm very sorry for your loss . Please accept my condolences.

Dave, you were loved by many and will be missed a great deal. I'm sure there will be a grand welcoming when you arrive in heaven. Peace be with you. My condolences to the family.

Heather I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved grandfather.... I loved hearing you chat about him all those years ago....a part of him will always be in that special place in your heart. Hugs and many prayers during this difficult time!

Wonderful man, remember him in the Drum Corp days with the Am. Legion 401 in Owego, and at Scott Smith and Son.
