Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe he has been gone so long. He was a friend, always supportive and always optimistic. He grew up near where my wife and I have lived for our entire adult lives, so we always had stories for him from his old home town when we crossed paths during the summers in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Thank you David, for being there for me when I needed you. Still much missed.

Dear Linda,
My deepest condolences on your loss. David was such a special person who will be so missed by so many. He gave so much of himself and has left us such a great legacy of preserved historic sites and open spaces. Thanks for sharing him with us all for so many years. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Linda,
I just heard the news of David's untimely passing. Rich joins me in sending you and your family our deepest condolences.

Rest in peace David. You are missed.

Dear Linda,

Both Liz and I are shocked and saddened by David's death. He was a terrific guy. We will miss seeing him in the summer in Narragansett. I can't believe that the conversation we had this summer at the beach was our last. Luckily it was a good one. You and your family have our deepest sympathy.

Yours,

Frank & Liz Mauran

Tina and I were shocked and saddened to receive this news. A leader in his community and state, a wonderful father and husband, David made a difference through his dedication, commitment and friendship. We all are the better for his having been part of our lives.

I was lucky enough to work with David on the committee to preserve the 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing. I was often awed by his energy, knowledge and passion for service. I envied his ability to interact and connect with a wide range of people and his excellent recall of names and personalities. There is no way we can ever fill his large shoes; his absence will always be felt and his smile always sweetly remembered.
Thinking of you and your family,
Beth Jarvie

Dear Linda and family,
I am deeply saddened and shocked by your incredibly sad news. I admired David and enjoyed every interaction I had with him over many years as a parent of boys playing soccer; as a Hopewell Borough leader and official when I was a Hopewell Township government person; and in his irreplaceable role as an advocate for land and historic preservation in the Hopewell Valley, the region and the state. You have my thoughts and love. I hope I can make it on Friday to share in...
