Not sure what to say?

Absolutely the best high school and college friend. During my troubled times he was always there for me. Big smile. Helping hand. And a good laugh. I miss him.

So sad for you, Cassie and Libby, to hear about David´s death. I have so good memories of the months I´ve been spending with the 3 of you as an Au Pair at Im Fasanengarten 18 some 34 years ago! I feel truly fortunate that I could have the chance to be part of your lives at that time. You were such a lovely family! I feel deeply sad for you, for David. Take good care, be courageous! Warmly, Valerie

I imposed on him at a management conference in The Hague many years ago to give an impromptu commentary on a half-day Finance session I helped put on and he not only kindly agreed to do it, but he knocked...

What a wonderful leader, mentor and human being David was. He impacted so many and s always I used on the important things in life. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all as you grieve the loss of this larger than life man who was so kind.

Cass, What a tragedy. I just heard about David's passing today and was stunned. His spirit and zest for life will be sorely missed. He was an amazing example of leadership, integrity, and all things good in this life. May he rest in peace.

Went to see Mr Kottkamp right after graduating from Seattle Pacific College , (without an interview) , He had been running for office in Portland before helping out his friend Mr knight to run HR , so I´m sure he was busy. He meet with a 440/400 meter runner and left not only a lasting impression, but a life time of advice. I called him... because I liked him and just to say Hi

David will be forever missed for his kind words, warm smile and generous spirit. He made sure each of us were seen and supported to reach new heights. A true role model for leadership. Thank you for making us better. You´ve left an indelible mark on my Nike journey. To David´s family: I send my deepest condolences. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time of loss and remembrance.
