Not sure what to say?

I only saw Dave a couple of times after he moved to the West Coast, but he was the same person that I knew in Detroit and Ferndale. He led our group, People Against Racism with clarity, commitment, and good humor. He was a special person and will be missed dearly by many friends.

I am so sad to learn of David's passing. Here in Detroit, he was a friend and principled co-worker in the struggle against racism and all forms of oppression.
He was also a kind and sweet soul. He will always live in our hearts.

If Don Evans was alive he would be sending a message and would be at David's service: this is Casey, and I just want to say to David's family, and because Don would want me to say this: David gave Don his start at SEIU and was his mentor. Don really looked up to David and looked to him for guidance as a new union rep. Thank you on behalf of Don. I know he would want me to send his love and gratitude.

David Kramer was a kind human being, colleague and friend to many in the Oakland Community.I met Dave when has was appointed to the Port of Oakland Commission.

In may ways he was the conscience of the Commission associated with expressing his views to ensure equality and fairness in the workplace for all employees whether our not there were represented by the union.David enjoyed his time at the Port of Oakland and we enjoyed him.
.

My sincerest sympathy to the Kramer family...
