Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss, " Maam".. I just lost my husband Michael Patrick Mullen, WC Judge in August 2020. Our family sends our thoughts and prayers. Most Respectfully, Patricia Mullen, Kerri-Ann Mullen and Erin Patricia Mullen Sala. God bless

I worked for and with David Krell between 1991 and 1998 as an associate lawyer when he was a partner of Lummis Krell & Baker . I remember David as a genuine, honest and highly ethical lawyer. He was a warm and understanding boss with a unique sense of humor. During those years, I also had the pleasure to work with his wife, Anne, who was and is a wonderful colleague and friend. My deepest sympathies are with Anne and her sons.

We were neighbors in Palatine Lake and I taught both of his boys first aid in Cub Scout Day Camp. But I got to know him better through CASA when he became the Family Court Judge in Salem. We have lost a wonderful advocate for Children's rights. May his family find comfort in knowing that although his life was too short, he made a difference for the children who faced much adversity in their lives due to family dysfunction.

It is still hard to believe, and the Courthouse is quiet without his spirit and zeal. He had great compassion and will be greatly missed. Wishing his family solace at this difficult time.

Dear Anne and Family: What a beautiful service yesterday. A very nice tribute to Judge Krell. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Krell family and his staff at Salem Co. Family Court.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Judge Krell was a colleague and friend to so many that met him in the legal community. His knowledge, compassion, dedication and energy in every pursuit made him a person that so many of us admired. He will be missed.

My heart is going out to each of you. It was an absolute pleasure and honor to work with Judge Krell. He was compassionate, fair, firm, and understood the complex needs of children and families with mental health issues...and those of us who worked on their behalf. He always spoke so fondly and lovingly of his family. He will truly be missed.

Anne and Family - MaryJane and I offer our deepest sympathy for your loss. Davids' demeanor and knowledge made him an outstanding Judge. Don Smith,JSC Ret.
