Baier Family Funeral Services - Paxton Obituary

David Raymond Krueger, 55, of Buckley passed away at 8:25 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Christian Bible Church, 1202 E 200 North Rd, Cissna Park with Rev. Silas Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Buckley. Baier Family Funeral Services, Buckley is assisting the family with arrangements.


Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Christian Bible Church, Cissna Park.


David was born April 20, 1963 in Chicago the son of Judith A. Davis. He married Darlene Swindle October 12, 1986 in Chicago Ridge. She survives.


Along with his wife, Darlene and his mother, Judy LaBerdia of Paxton he is survived by four sons, Ryan Blake Krueger of Frankfort, Joshua David Krueger of Palos Hills, Kyle John Krueger of Crossville, TN, Noah Jacob Krueger of Paxton; one granddaughter, Paisley Rae Krueger of Frankfort; two brothers, Robert C. (Pat) Krueger, Jr. of Elmhurst, Guy T. (Louise) Krueger of Buckley; one sister, LaVonne A. (Ben) Mann of Darien; mother-in-law, Evelyn M. Garlic of Palos Hills; several nieces and nephews and his step family.


He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. LaBerdia; one brother, Blake Krueger; two nephews, Cody Lee Krueger and Michael Keri; and father-in-law, Larry Swindle.


David spent his childhood in Burbank, Illinois and graduated from H L Richards High School in Chicago Ridge. He attended the College of Sequoias in Visalia, California for two years on a football scholarship. He and Darlene lived in Hickory Hills, Illinois after they were married and moved to Buckley in 2006. David was a member of Christian Bible Church, Cissna Park.


He enjoyed listening to books, especially the Bible, riding his bicycle and working out. He was always there to encourage his friends. Most of all he loved spending time with family.
