Not sure what to say?

I knew Dave from working on the FLVAC. He was such a great person. He will be missed always

A true inspiration.

Rest easy brother . Airborne All The Way .

At one of our FLVAC Wet Downs

David was my Sgt in 4th platoon 4-325 AIR. He helped make me who I am today. Until we meet again Brother. AATW

Just finding out about this now with eyes full of tears.Dave was a man's man and an inspiration to many of my paratrooper brothers. He never let anyone be less than they could be,always pushing for the best in us.I spent most of my military time with him on and off duty and he was one of the funniest loving men I've ever known. We lost contact as many often do,but I would get snippets here and there"the Legend of SGT KURZ" He would tell us he was so deadly they named a bullet after him=the 9mm...

You will truly be missed!

I was one among a company of paratroopers, D Co 4-325 AIR, that served with SGT Kurz. He was a great NCO, sharp witted, and one of my favorite personalities of all time. Airborne!!

He came to my rescue when I was being followed by a road rage stalker who want inflict bodily on me. I was on the cell phone the whole time with Desk Sargent I was being followed The person got arrested on a side street near The Jewish Community in Fort lee, N.J.. I was always was taught that when you are followed, don't drive home. Drive to the nearest Police Station.
