I met Dave when I joined the attorney general's office in 1997. He was one of the kindest, most genuine individuals that I have ever worked with during my tenure as a prosecutor. I am truly saddened to learn of his passing. My condolences to all of Dave's family and friends.

The law enforcement community lost one of its heroes in David Kwait, whose integrity and humanity made those around him better people. He will be sorely missed.
