I miss you dad

Happy Birthday to my beautiful David. Not a single day goes by without thinking about you & talking to you - I hope you can hear every word. I'm grateful for the time I was able to spend with you & would give anything to see you again...to hear your contagious laugh...to see you wink at me from across the room...to sit & talk with you for hours...to hug you one more time...but for now, I can only cherish the memories I have & carry them in my heart forever. I miss you so very much.

I graduated from OPHS with Dave in 2000. 15 years later I'm still thinking about him.

Dear Roustum family, I went through basic training with David in Ft. Benning where we became friends. I hadn't seen him again after graduating training until we were both heading back into Iraq from our 2 week leaves in august of 2004. Just a little note to David's family that I still think of David quite often and am very proud that I had the opportunity to get to know him some and his fellow brothers from New York. I was an Oregon Guard medic that went to Dave's platoon and I am always honored that I had the opportunity to serve with them and be their "doc". To David's family, I thank you and hope God has blessed you all. Rest in Peace, brother, you're a good man and I will always remember you!

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Roustum Family know that we recently sent a donation to Walter Reed Medical Center in the name of David L. Roustum US Army Specialist. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili &...

Thank you for your patriotism. America has too few of your stature. God (Allah) bless you.
David Marion

Almost Christmas now and the pain comes back even deeper this time of year, as I sit and think about you more and more. It's been more than 7 years since you left us all and I still don't want to accept it. Miss you all the time.
