David A. Ladd

As a DNR employee, I interacted with Dave Ladd many times over a 20-year period and found him to be a kind, respectful person at all times. His wit and sense of humor were always present and he treated everyone fairly regardless of political beliefs. His many conservation contributions were widely known. He will be missed by many.

I new Dave and Nancy in the fifties. Was at their wedding and visited Walnut Hollow business. I lived with Nancy in Madison at 144 E Gorham Street. Sending my love and sympathy. Evelyn Meili Arnold

Dave became a good friend of mine when he headed up the Deer 2000 project for the Conservation Congress and Wisconsin DNR. I was a DNR attorney who had the good fortune to work with Dave on many deer regulatory issues while he was chair of the Congress Big Game Committee. We shared a passion for turkey hunting and shared many stories together. Dave was a courteous gentlemen with a great sense of humor who was fun to work with. I´ll miss him.
