In the short few years that Carrie and I have known Dave - we grew to love and appreciate his kindness as a human being. He will be missed by the both of us, the memories of Dave will last forever...

As Bev said, David was truly one of the nice guys at Minnechaug. I'll never forget his 30 yard field goal! All this and a soldier for Jesus as well.

My Dad was truly the greatest. Even when he knew his fate, instead of feeling sorry for himself he felt grateful for all the love and support from his family and soooo many friends/coworkers.

We had a saying that he lived by unil the very end "Don't Give Up Before the Miracle". He NEVER gave up!

I will love you and miss you forever Daddy...you'll never know how much.

I looked up to David when he married Bev when I was 10. He was the brother that I never had. He was the tickle monster. Now Joe has that name! Joe and David have his smile, Joe his laugh and I hear that laugh in my son, Sam. Traci and Tami have his sense of humor too!

He was so tall and handsome in his Navy uniform. My parents were so proud of his career as a Navy officer. He took us on a tour of the ship that he was on once and all the sailors saluted him and looked up to him. ...

Dave, was the kindest and caring man I have ever met. I am proud to have him as my brother-in-law, we shared a lot of good times.

Dave was one of the 'nice guys' at Minnechaug. I sat next to him in homeroom and kept him laughing. Prayers to the family. You were lucky to have had him.

My uncle had the most beautiful smile. He could light up even the darkest room. I'm so proud to say I am related to this wonderful man. I love you Uncle David and always will. I know now your suffering is over and you are at peace.

My sympathy to all the family. My memories of Dave from Minnechaug were of a smart, gentle man. It sounds like he maintained those qualities and much more.
