I met David at the U. of M. Club of Ann Arbor. I enjoyed our chats and found David to be genuinely kind & compassionate. He will be missed. My condolences to David's family & friends

In reading David's obituary, he lived a blessed life and each paragraph shows the diversity in his sharing the joy of marriage, parenting and professional achievement. I never had the pleasure of meeting David, Sr., but his loyal son David and his wife Linda are active in the community, especially in the humanitarian work of the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor. Hebrews 11:1 God, bless!

Chuck and I feel so fortunate to have been able to visit David on our recent trip to Ann Arbor this September. David remained fully engaged in the world-asking if we could pick up his Wall Street journal on our way up to visit. His care for chuck´s mom Patti always gave us such peace as we got on an airplane back to seattle. What a gift David´s life was and his legacy of kindness and compassion lives on in his wonderful family. We are better people for knowing the LaMoreaux family -Nancy...

My father met Mr. LaMoreaux when they carpooled together while working at Kaiser-Frazer in Willow Run and became lifelong friends. Our families were close and it continues through the next generations. My father, Bill, got him involved with the Ann Arbor Co-Op Credit Union (later Huron River Area Credit Union) and they served on the Board of Directors together for many years. One of my earliest memories is of being put to sleep at their house on Northwood St. while the adults played cards....
