Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service - Hancock Obituary

Coburntown David W. Lampinen, 48, a resident of Redford, and son of Wiliam & Dorothy Lampinen of Coburntown, passed away Monday, May 24, 2004, at Detroit Recieving Hospital in Detroit, where he had been a patient for the past 12 days. He was born in Highland Park, on February 19, 1956, a son of William and Dorothy (Pyykkonen) Lampinen, and has resided for his entire lifetime in Redford. He was a graduate of Redford Union High School. He excelled in all sports, especially Golf. Dave was baptised and confirmed at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Southfield. He was preceded in death by a sister, Denise Kay Lampinen. Surviving are: His parents of Coburntown Loc. 1 Sister: Susan (Keith) Williams of Farmington Hills Numerous aunts uncles & cousins. Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 29, 2004, at 12 noon in Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Atlantic Mine with Rev. Ted Koehl to officiate. Burial to be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Friends may call at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock on Friday, May 28, 2004, from 4 to 8 P.M. and from 11 A.M. until time of services at the church on Saturday.
