David with Uncle Bert and Aunt Ethel

My mother, Marjorie Beauchamp, grew up with David and his family. As a result, I have a long list of warm, happy, and often hysterical memories of David, who was a lot older than me and, I thought, so very handsome. He stayed in touch with me throughout the years, even though I lived across the country, and his voice and laughter will forever live in my heart.

I was saddened to hear of Dave's passing. My sister, Janice, was his first assistant in his magic act at Lincoln HS and was in the musicals as his leading lady at Lincoln and Seattle U. He was such a talented and caring person. My prayers are with you during this time.

Dave Laquet was my magic mentor. He and John Carswell.I remember them at the magic club siting in the back cracking jokes and giggling like school children. They reminded me of the two heckalers on the muppet show.I knew they were the ones I needed to talk to. The ones who really knew the ropes. Dave and John thank you, I miss you and I love you.

Dear family,
I was saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. We were in Brigadoon together at Lincoln Hi and I have many fond memories of that musical and of your Dad. We were in San Jose at the same time he was living there but never was able to connect with him to just say hi. He was always so facinating to watch doing his magic acts at assemblies. Just a neat down to earth king of guy. I know this is a very sad time for all of you and my sympathy goes out to all of you.
