Not sure what to say?

IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT NEARLY 10 YEARS HAVE PASSED SINCE THE PASSING OF A REALLY WONDERFUL MAN, A TEACHER, A FATHER, GRANDFATHER, AND COMPASSIONATE FRIEND TO MANY. BOTH MR. LAWRENCE AND I SERVED IN THE U.S. NAVY, BUT IN A WHOLE DIFFERENT GENERATION...TO WHICH WE BOTH ARE PROUD TO HAVE SERVED OUR NATION. WE HONOR YOU, MR. LAWRENCE, FOR HONORING GOODNESS IN OTHERS! THANK YOU...THANK YOU!!! RICHARD PETRUCCI

David was a very charismatic and kind man. My family and I were blessed to have met him when he became our neighbor for over two years. During that time we enjoyed many fine moments. We loved to hear him sing and retell his great life experiences. His life touched our lives and we will forever remember him

I'm glad I got to read this obituary today and know so much about a man who contributed so much of his life to the service of others. I have been inspired for years to come.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

TO THE MEMORY OF MR. DAVID LAWRENCE, I HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF MY HISTORY TEACHER WHILE AT SPRINGFIELD TRADE HIGH SCHOOL, AND SO GRATEFUL FOR HIS HELPING ME TO OBTAIN ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS. HE WAS TRULY A WONDERFUL PERSON WHOM I GREATLY ADMIRED AND RESPECTED, ESPECIALLY FOR HIS HUMANITY AND COMPASSION TO HELP OTHERS ACHIEVE THEIR DESIRES. SO, I THANK YOU, MR. LAWRENCE! SIMPLY AND SINCERELY, RICHARD PETRUCCI, ELLINGTON, CT.

I remember David Lawrence as my Homeroom Teacher at Trade in the 1950s. Very well liked and respected nice man. So sorry for your Loss.
