I am saddened by the loss of Mr. Layman. I knew him through the Democratic party. He loved people and he loved what he did. We will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Layman family.

May the God of Peace be with you during this time of loss. I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to David's family. I know you will miss him tremendously because David lived his life in a manner that we can not ever forget. He impacted more lives than he will ever imagine. As a co-worker and local 2204 member, I can say we were all blessed to know and share our lives with a man of such great value.

To the Layman family

I was deeply saddened by our great loss. I served with David for many years the Oversight Committee his input will be missed. I will greatly miss my eating my meals with David at the Blue Star Cafe in Buchanan on my way home to the Peoples Republic of Texas. What a loss to his friends and family. My respect for David will always be with me. God bless David.

To the Layman Family, I was very saddened to learn of David's passing. I had the great pleasure of working with David at C&P Telephone over thirty years ago. David was the one that got me involved in CWA in the 1970s. He was truely a great Unionist and leader. I always looked forward to seeing him at CWA Conventions. David will be greatly missed - but never forgotton!

To Ann and family:
I was shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing. He will be long remembered and admired by those of us who had the privilege of working with him in the VA Democratic Party. My thoughts are with you all.

To the Layman Family
I was saddened to learn of David's death. I worked with him for a number of years on the 6th District Democratic Committee and always found him trustworth, wise, and helpful. He had the rare knack of being able to find solutions to problems. I know his family will miss him greatly, and the Democratic Party will miss him too. He personified the truly dedicated person who worked in the political sphere.

I knew David well as a colleague and as a Staff Representative, he was a wonderful person. I am saddened and will miss him. He was a very special person always with a smile and heartfelt emotions for those he knew and those he just met.
