I still miss my brother and think of him often. I know he's riding around heaven on his bike

He was my friend for over 25 years, the best bike fixer, and the best car mechanic I knew. He worked on my vehicles for many years. A dedicated and great fireman. I will miss him a lot.

My heart goes out to all the family. Dave was a friend from childhood, we reminisced about it a lot when we worked together. Once a friend always a friend. He will be greatly missed.

He was a friend, a father figure, and an incredible ping pong adversary. But most of all he was one of my heroes in life. I knew him as Big Dave and I will miss him dearly. All my love to the Laytart family now and forever.

We were so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He gave many bikes to people in need and was dedicated to the fire department. He was hard working, generous, kind, & easy to talk to. Just an all around good guy. We will miss his wonderful Halloween displays. Prayers, Pete & Brenda Pierce
