Not sure what to say?

I first met Dave, when I taught at Fenton High School, back in 1996. In 2002, I became Dave and Norma's neighbor. They were such nice people and neighbors. I will miss them both. Dave was the nicest person, and made a difference in countless lives. Good speed, Dave!

David will be missed by all the people he has touched in his life, mine included. Though we didn't know each other all that well, after moving from Flint, my sisters, Jan and Bette, brother Jesse and I have known the family for as long as I can remember. My dad played shesh-oo-besh with Dave's dad, Nimrod as we tried to understand what they were saying as they called out the number combinations. They were boyhood friends in the old country. David was a big part of the Assyrian community in...

Dave was one of the most honest, sincere, and dedicated teachers that I had the pleasure of working with in the Fenton schools. He will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear about Davids passing,He was a graduate of Flint Central 1957. Got to know him at our 57 class reunion meetings, what a sweet person.R.I.P. Dave

I'm sorry that I couldn't be with you to celebrate David's life. He was a special man. Sending love and prayers to the family.

I played JV football for Coach Lazar in the early 80s. What a great man! He had a "quiet strength" that is rarely found today. Humble, confident, funny, and a strong role model for impressionable teenagers. A man of conviction that made a marked impression on those he touched in life. Godspeed, Coach....and thank you.

Dave Lazar coach me in football, I played softball along with Dave, and coach football with Dave. A super all-around person. He will never be forgotten.

My whole family mourns the loss of Dave Lazar. My sister and daughters played softball for him and had a lot of years of time together. He was a good man and the world will miss him!

My prayers to the Lazar family. Dave was an inductee of the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame. An awesome teacher and coach. Dave taught life lessons and managed to win a few games also(state championships). He was a legend. He will be missed by all. Mike Vance, President, GFASHOF
