Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of David's passing. David was a friend through the Baking Circle. His sense of humor was very enjoyable, and his knowledge of baking was helpful. I feel lucky to have known him. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

David was a friend of mine through the Baking Circle, one of the voices that kept drawing me back to my bread even after the worst of bread-brick disasters. He will be dearly missed, and I offers my deepest sympathy to James and to all of his family.

May the Goddess bless and safely keep David, and us all. Blessed Be.

My dear KAF Baking Circle friend,
Thanks for all the laughs you have given me on the circle. I will forever remember you each time I make your divine chocolate waffles! God bless your southern soul.

My deepest sympathy to James and to all of David's family. I've known David for over 14 years. And to his Baking friends, when it came to cooking, there was nothing David couldn't do that I knew of. David also knew the "how to" for cooking outside "Camping Style". David was such a wonderful person and all of us at PwC were so blessed to have worked with such a truly amazingly talented individual and to have had him in our lives. David was always "up". I never saw David down, not even when he...

Rest in peace dear David. You will be in our hearts always.

Like many, I came to know David on the Baking Circle. David's caring helpful nature and strength amazed me daily with all he was going through. I learned so much from David and having many health issues myself I gained great strength from David's love of life. Somehow he made even my worst days feel better when he himself was enduring worse. For those who are reading this and wonder what is this "Baking Circle"... I will tell you that it is a huge family of the most talented, giving and...

My deepest sympathy to all of David's family and friends -- his spirit will be sorely missed. I've used many of his wonderful recipes for parties and day-to-day family gatherings. He kept us all entertained with his jokes eliciting either laughs or groans (or sometimes both!). He was an amazing vital force on the Baking Circle and will never be forgotten.

Dear David: I just sent my magic flying wheelchair up to you. It's carrying Grane, my latest 10 pound block of chocolate and a gift certificate to the KA store in the sky for all the gadgets and goodies you'd like. A computer so you can join the heavenly KA Circle and help all the angels learn how to make proper biscuits. If you'd like, send the chair back down and I will try to get Tim Foley's awesome hearth oven on it to send up. Just let it rain bread on us down here sometimes. I pray that...

As another member of the King Arthur Baking Circle, I send my condolences to all of David's family.

David will continue to be with all of us, visiting in our kitchens, offering assistence when necessary. David's generosity and help came to us on the Circle in many ways: His wonderful recipes, his willingness to offer tips on methods and techniques of food preparation, his constant contributions of wit and humor which were so appreciated, and on a personal level, his assurances...
