David A. Leger

I'm sorry to hear about David's passing at such a young age. We grew up together in Live Oak, just down the road from each other. His brother Robert was friend and classmate of my younger brother. David would sometimes work for my Dad. He would babysit us when our folks went out. He'd let us stay up late to watch "World at War" and the horror movies if we promised to run off to bed when we heard my folk's car come. David was my best friend all through High School in Live Oak, CA. We showed hogs together through the FFA organization and he even raised a Weimaraner puppy from one of our litters. I knew he was a pilot but my, what a wonderful fulfilled life he had. My sympathies to all of his family. He was a great friend and man.
