Not sure what to say?

Mrs Hardy and Joe I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Lemley was always kind and understanding as the principal.

Our Heartfelt condolences to family and loved ones. God Bless.

What a dear man. What a gentle man. What a role model. I remember a time in 1979. Mr. Lemley had just bought a new truck. I was charged, as a senior in high school, with painting the backdrop for prom pictures. The prom was at the Summit Inn. I had no way of getting the backdrop to the Inn. I was telling Mr. Lemley and, without hesitation, he reached into his pocket, pulled out the keys to his new truck and tossed them to me and said, "now be careful.." I have nothing but fond memories of...

Becky and David were my first friends and neighbors when I moved to Mt. Morris as a new bride. We had our children at the same time and remained friends all these years. David was always the friendly, smart man I enjoyed listening to. He gave an opinion in such a quiet, respectful way. What a fine example he set as a husband, father, school leader. That dear man will be missed by many.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Mr. Lemley was a wonderful man and a fantastic principal. He was there throughout my high school years. A great man. Condolences to all the Lemley family in this time of sadness.

Becky and family, my deepest sympathy to you all in your loss of Dave. I remember him mostly from school and then later when either he or one of the boys was a patient I took care of. Regardless, he was always so calm. I can´t ever remember him yelling like a lot of the teachers did! And my mom enjoyed working with him. Will be keeping you in my prayers. Karen (Montgomery ) Bruno (and John)

My deepest sympathy to the Lemley family! Many fond memories of Mr.Lemley, Becky and their children flood my thoughts of my early years as a young teacher at Perry Elementary School! May all the warm memories carry you through this difficult time. Just knowing how many people and students he touched is a legacy in itself! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
