I met David back in the mid-80s. He was a true gentleman. On that we all aspire to be.

Anita I hope this gets to you. I am Melissa Rodgers, Robbie Rodgers daughter. I have been looking for you and David for so long. We lost dad November 1, 2019. Mom, Amanda and I are sorry for your loss.

My father was Larry Barcklay who owned an advertising agency in Spokane that Dave worked at. He was a talented advertiser and artist who added SO much to the small agency. I was a teenager at the time and he was always kind to me and was so very funny. I still have one of his paintings hanging in my home and will always treasure it.

So sorry to hear of the passing of David Lempesis. I worked at the Seattle Center while David was the Media and Public Relations Manager in early 1970's. He was the prototype of a Public Relations professional and he was a funny guy. I remember moving into a new office and David came in and paced off the room's length and width to determine the square footage. Then he stood a foot from the corner wall and placed his forearm against the wall and rested his head on his arm and mimicked...
