Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy and Lisa,
I am so sad to learn of Dave's passing and will think of him often as I continue to enjoy his paintings in our home.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dearest Nancy and Family, We just heard the news, and send our deepest sympathy to you all. You are all such special people, and know Dave will be very much missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Much love, Micki and Roger (England)

Dear Mrs. Lenker, Lisa & Family, It was Mr. Lenker's painting of Circus Barn that first brought me into his framing business on Main St. in Hummelstown! Through the years I made many more visits to the business acquiring prints of his and getting to know many of you as well. May you find comfort in many happy memories of his life and lasting legacy in the beauty he created. Peace to each of you.

Our sincere sympathies from everyone at Walker's Art & Framing. We all enjoyed Dave when he came in our store. He always had a new story to tell. Dave and my late husband, Don, would talk and laugh together and soon everyone would be laughing with them. Dave was commissioned by my husband to do a painting of the Sand Beach Covered Bridge for my 60th birthday. The painting hangs in my home and I enjoy it every day. Dave was a talented man and a friend to many. He will be missed. Our thoughts...

Brook & family, So sorry for your loss. If there is anything we can do for you, just call.

Donna & Steven Morelli, Carlisle PA

The world has lost a truly great painter, teacher, and wonderful human being. You taught me to observe everything around me, in the beautiful colors of nature, that we normally take for granted. Nothing missed your trained eye, not even a simple blade of grass. Your talent was truly awesome. I always loved watching your "demos" and wishing that I could paint like you. Most of all, you were a wonderful, sweet man, who delighted us with your stories and enriched our lives. Thank you from...

On behalf of the Houck Family ... we have such fond memories of the Lenker family and especailly Dave; and his amazing talents and appreciate all he and his family offered to us and so many others. Enjoy all the memories ... they really do last forever.

My family knew Dave for a long time. He was my father's friend and became mine too. He came into Walker's Art & Framing and i knew him all my life. Several years ago he painted a special WC for my mother of the Swatara Creek where she grew up. We will all miss him very much. He was a kind and good man - the best!

Nancy, Margot, Andy and the entire Golba/Lenker Family.

We are so sorry to hear about Dave. I know how special he was to Margot and everyone else, and he always brightened the room with his quick wit and great jokes. Heaven will be a happier place because of him. We love you! John, Peggy, John Robert and Eli Davenport
