David Carl Lennartz

Dr. Lennartz was my favorite teacher while I attended CCCLA.. So sad to hear this news.

The most loving brother you could ask for: one of a kind who always yearned to explore the heavens. Now he is free to do so. Though I did not see him often when he was among the living, I miss him like crazy every day that he is gone.

Gone but not forgotten.

To the Lennartz family, my condolences. Dr. Lennartz and I worked together at CCCLA for a number of years. He was a kind and intelligent man. My heart goes out to you for your loss. Please remember that SORROW IS NOT FOREVER, LOVE IS. He will live in your hearts forever. RIP

David was a wonderful brother and someone you will never forget once he has been a part of your life. Always “the professor”, he taught me to write at the college level (thank you Dave!), and we shared so many good times discussing the deep meaning behind Star Trek episodes. When I smell the scent of fresh popcorn, savor a slice of Hershey's Chocolate Pie, see Captain Kirk in action or happen upon a pond (amoebas!), I will stop and think of you, and reflect on the very best of times spent...

I have many childhood memories of playing with David, especially at Grandma's house. As a child, David called me Alice (no one knew why), but for him it had meaning.
David will always hold a special place in my heart.
May your memories bring you comfort.
