Not sure what to say?

I met Mr. Levy as a young high school student and later as a graduate back in the late 50's when I worked briefly in the District Attorney's office. He was such a kind gentleman and very supportive. At that time, there were few career options for young women and he encouraged me to go to college and law school. It was not possible for me at that time and I've often thought of him over the years as I did become a legal secretary and followed that profession for 30 years. I sincerely believe he...

Dave was my law partner and friend. Together we tried his last jury trial which was in federal court. We won. He had that same dignity and force of personality that Addicus Finch displayed in "To Kill A Mocking Bird". He was a great guy, smart, dignified, and full of fun. I will miss him dearly.

I was privileged to work for Mr. Levy for 13 years. I once asked him why he wasn't a judge. His reply, "I prefer to argue the law, not decide the law". He would go to lunch and draft pleadings, letters, etc, on napkins, place mats. He loved practicing law. It was interesting seeing all the attorneys in our office going to him for advice. He left his mark on any one who knew him and will be truly missed.

How lucky I was to have an uncle that was so great and loving and I could always be so proud of him.
I thank God that we could joke together just a week before he died.
