David Crowell Lewis

I have another family member with pancreatic cancer. It is a sad indeed to hear this news. I have known Dave for years and he was always a first class guy. His enthusiasm for life was grand.

My family and I were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Dave's passing. Our sincere condolences to his family. I had the privilege of working with Dave at Boeing, and my family and I the pleasure of sailing with him on Puget Sound. We will miss him dearly.

I worked with Dave since 1994 in the ME Wing groups across all wing lines. He was always helpful to the new as well as the old timers around here. He had an infectious smile and as some mentioned a very mellow demeanor. I am a better person for having known Dave and I will miss him.

I had the privilege of working with
Dave on the 777 and 767 programs at Boeing. He was a great guy. No matter how busy or hectic things became, he was always ready to help with a smile. I can't believe he's no longer with us. He will be very much missed by so many.

I worked with Dave several years ago and was luccky to be a friend of his. I'm shocked and saddened at the news of his passing and will miss the occasions that I was able to sit and talk with him about anything/everything and nothing at the same time. I will miss his quick wit and sense of humor. All my best to his Family.

I worked with Dave for several years at Boeing in the 777 Wing Group. He is a great guy with a very mellow disposition. He will be sorely missed.

He was my loving older brother who always wanted to know how my children were doing! He fell in love with sail boats at the age of eight when our Dad bought a Star boat and started refinishing it in our garage. It never left him, he took sailing lessons in Newport Beach, CA and was racing every weekend from 10-15 years of age.
He found his first job out of college building sailboats for Miller construction on Bainbridge Island and raced in the Victoria to Maui race three times!
