David Lezak

Still miss David to this day. He was an amazing gentleman I´d known since our high school days at Wilson High.

I worked for David as a Research and Development Engineer in the late 1980's. I loved David, he was generous, kind and encouraging. Most of us at that time were not college graduates, but David treated us with the utmost respect and drew out our creativity and tallent. I was responsible for the dynamic RAM on the Line Interface Modules that made 250,000 phone calls with Ronald Reagan's digitized voice, in 72 calling hours. It was a huge victory for all of us! David had confidence in me...

One of the best people I have ever known. Working at the company he built was the most rewarding, interesting and challenging time in my 35 years in the industry. Dr. Lezak was an amazing person. The world is less kind since he departed. I miss him still.

I only learned of David's passing today - nine years after. I was thinking back to the long-ago days of Wygant Scientific and how the company I worked for, Unicom, partnered with Wygant on some really great projects and implementations. I went on many business trips with David and others from Wygant and my company. So many memories! David was brilliant, a born entrepreneur and salesman, and his senses of fun, adventure and humor knew no bounds. He could be so annoyingly last-minute - never...

I worked at Wygant, David's computer company. We were an unruly bunch and he got the best out of everyone. Everyone at the company loved David. He was a quirky guy, rarely wore socks, partial to bow ties. Smartest, most compassionate, patient person. There still are times I wish I could call him.

Condolence to the family and friends of David. He surely will be missed. He is the best person I have ever met. Me and my family will miss you, we thank you from the bottom of our heart. I always ask, why the good guys go first.

I was shocked, and sad ... lost such a good boss and a friend . Just learned today that you were gone. Me and the Gypsy will surely miss you. I wish I could keep the Gypsy in your memory . Bremerton Marina will auction it in two months.

Dear Muriel, Anne and Miriam, I just found out today, about David passing on. I am still shocked. I remember an irrepressible spirit and reading the many beautiful words written about him it is clear his was a life well lived. May you find comfort in your memories of him. My sincere condolences to you and his entire family.
