Thinking about Dr Lichtenwalter today. He became our dentist in 1988 when we moved to Glen Ellyn. Any dentist I have seen since his passing, always comments on the beauty of his work. What a blessing it was knowing him. And I still remember his wonderful smile, warm gracious ways and incredible competence. What a blessing he has been.

I am sad to hear that Dr. Lichtenwalter passed away. I worked for him as a dental assistant when I was high school and summers during my university years. He was a nice boss and very good dentist. To this day (40 years later) dentists see the work in my mouth and compliment (him) the high quality. my sincere condolences

Finest dentist I've ever known and a family friend. I grew up in the CHI area and he was my dentist for over 20 years. I just learned about this now. Deepest condolences.

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Lichtenwalters passing. I worked as his chair side assistant in the early 70's and will always have fond memories of sharing this time period with him! He was always so gracious, kind and patient to work for! He was so committed to his patients and excellence in dentistry which included standing while he worked from 7am until 7 pm each and every day!
I was blessed to receive an incredible knowledge base from both him and Jacquie which I carried on in...

Dr. Lichtenwalter was my dentist for almost 40 years until I moved out of state. The dentist I have now constantly raves about the quality of his work. He was a gentle and patient man who, I know, will be greatly missed.

Growing up in Toledo, IL 15 years or so after Dave, it was natural that i chose him for our dentist when my husband and I moved to the area in 1976. He was an outstanding dentist and a warm and caring person. And he took such good care of "Grandma" Bessie. Melitta and Jim

I did not learn about Dr. Lichtenwalter passing until now. Very sad news. I have been his patient for the last 8 years. He was, hands down, the best dentist I have ever encountered and one of the most remarkable human beings. He will be missed dearly. My condolences to Sue and the rest of his family.
