Dave was a memorable person. We went to law school together. I recall his walking across campus to the library with one book under his arm. He would concentrate on one issue at a time. I recall driving to the basket with Dave the only defender. Thinking I was smart I took the ball up with my right hand, intended to transfer it to my left and lay the ball in the basket.
