David Long M.D.

I´m so sad to hear of David´s passing. I was a classmate of his at Lycoming College were I heard of his passing at our recent 50th class reunion. David was a brilliant, and great classmate. I so admired David in college and also went on to be a Family Physician. Sending love and condolences in his passing and sounded like he had a full life. So sad to hear of the loss of you son as well. Dr Curt Swagler

Truly a special person. He´s my uncle - my mother´s brother. When I was about 10 I was fortunate to go along on a group trip to Europe. Such a wonderful experience. David had a terrific laugh and sense of humor as well as incredible medical knowledge which he shared. Compassionate and hard-working yet he seemed to greatly enjoy traveling and getting back to nature. Sending sincere condolences to his family and all who were close to him.

Sincere condolences for the loss of Dr Long. I worked with him in the family practice clinics and he also was my father´s physician. I enjoyed his sense of humor so much! He had a unique approach to family medicine and was very aware of his patient´s quality of life when prescribing treatment plans.He was a wonderful person and contributed so much to his patients care and those of us that worked with him.

Outstanding man, fantastic PCP. We missed him when he moved onto the VA, but were grateful his talent would be used for our Vets. Our condolences to his family. May the many good memories comfort you at this time.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Long at Strawberry Square Family Care. He is an amazing physician and such a caring person. He shared so many wonderful stories of his life adventures and beamed with pride as he spoke of his children. He was always willing to teach when clinic allowed. I gained a wealth of knowledge from him in the short time I worked with him. I think one of the biggest things he taught me was to LIVE! Dr Long will truly be missed!
