David Andrew Long Sr.

David Long was dedicated to the Lord Jesus. You could tell by what he said and did. Marilyn, my wife, worked with him in the JAARS/Wycliffe museum where he volunteered each summer. We enjoyed many meals with him. He had a ready smile and always had a story to tell or a joke to share. He was one of the finest men I knew. He had many friends from his time of service in Peru. Dorie and I have many fond memories of David. He served the JAARS community in the Alphabet Museum. Also he was a valued friend who believed in the power of prayer and advocated for it in our prayer meetings. He believed strong in following the Lord Jesus and spreading the gospel through the translation of the Holy Bible.

It was my honor to get to know your dad David while at Colonial Oaks as I worked in Activities. He was a sweet man who obviously loved his family. I was warmed to see the love he was shown by his family. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy to you all at this time. Lynn Reeder
