Dave - Old Kent River Bank Run 1980

Sally,
Dave was one of the first friendly faces I ran into when I started at Amway; his always smiling face made people comfortable in his presence. He encouraged me to try new things - volleyball (remember the old Oakdale School gym nights) and running - that became passions in my life. When I saw him in the River Bank Run, I just knew if Dave could do it so could I. A "previously unpublished" photo of Dave in action is attached. The positive impact Dave had on my life will always be...

Sally and family:
My brother Curt had been keeping me informed on Dave's illness and I am truly saddened by his death. Even though I hadn't seen him in years, he always held a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy to you and your children. May you find comfort in his memory.

Sally and family, we will keep you in our prayers. Dave was appreciated and loved by all. May he rest in God's total peace and may your family find great peace in knowing he is no longer suffering.

Sally, I just want you to know that I have been on the list to hear of Dave's illness thru a lot of poeple that dearly loved him. I knew both of you better in years past but I will always remmeber him and his great personality, I also always thought he was so cute. You and your family are in my prayers and will be for a long time.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Dave way before his time. I will always remember him as one of the nicest guys I have ever known. Always a smile, always kind and that great suttle sense of humor... I am sure he is in Heaven now.

I worked in R&D with Dave years ago and remember him as a gentle, fun, easygoing man. I'm sorry for your loss.

Sally, Lindsey, Greg and Andy, please know that your family is in our prayers and be comformted to know that your husband/father is at peace. Your strength is inspiring! God bless.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
