So sad to hear of Dave's passing, I met him when I worked for Ocean Tech in the early 90's and was able to work along side him. In 1999 at the Valdez Marine Terminal, he was my boss. He was always so patient and kind and I will always have a soft spot in my heart for him. Didn't realize he was from Wendell, would have loved to have chatted with him about that since I was born in Twin Falls and that was my stomping grounds in my younger years.

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing...he was a friend of ours for many, many years and I always looked forward to our little chats at Riverbend Campground.

I first met Dave in 1975 working on the Alyeska Pipeline. What began as a work related acquaintance evolved into a 38 year true friendship. He was always quick to lend a helping hand, and if he knew you had a problem you didn't have to ask, he would ask; what can I do to help. For that I will be forever grateful. I will always appreciate and never forget his friendship.

It's hard to express words for the loss of a very dear friend who we spent so many good years together parked side by side on the Kenai River, we fished, we laughed and we relaxed (in good company) ... it doesn't get any better than that. You were a True Alaskan and Friend who will remain in our hearts, thoughts and prayers for a long time to come ... we miss you Dave. Rest in Peace.

I knew Dave from the vet clinic where he brought his dog, Gretchen for treatment. Whoever has her, thank you for taking her in spite of her health issues ~ I can only imagine this means the world to Dave. It's sad to think of one without the other. He was a good man.
