It's with great sadness that we in the LA patent bar learn of David's passing. He was a colorful and inspiring figure - Making himself an admired regular fan at Japanese baseball games and leading cheers in Japanese with his fellow fans, is just one example.

I was so saddened to hear the news of David's passing. We were dear friends growing up -- hanging out, laughing, playing tennis, and just enjoying each other's company. David, you were a lively spirit, loved by all who knew you. My deepest condolences go out to your entire family.

I just heard the news regarding my dear friend David who I grew up with in Southern Calif. David, I will never forget your kindness, the slow dances in Middle School and how you made me laugh. You will be missed.
