Not sure what to say?

Dear Lucas Family: What wonderful memories you have made over the years.... ski trips, Florida escapes, golf and paddle tennis events, and of course all of the holidays you have shared... These are the things that will carry you through the years. Be comforted by the fact that your memories can never be taken from you and that Mr Lucas lives on strongly and with much affection in the minds of all your true friends.

Much love and sympathy,

April and Eric Schmitt

Dear dear Ellie,
So clearly I remember your telling me about the wonderful person who had come into your life! It seems such a short time ago--and yet what a panorama of memories have unfolded in the days since then.

Please know that you and your family are in our prayers even as we are so far away--currently a few miles from the border of Albania. I hope to be in touch soon. With much love, Carol

Dear Ellie and family,

After just speaking to you a few weeks ago, it was such a shock to hear about the passing of your beloved Dave. Please know Dean and I are filled with such sadness and concern. May this express the sympathy that words can never say to you and your family.
Love,
Anne and Dean McClelland

Dear Lucas Family -
I am so sorry for your loss. So many of us will remember Mr. Lucas' warmth and creative spirit and the wonderful way he always made the kids (and everyone) feel special. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Lucas & Family,

I wanted to extend my condolences to you all. Mr. Lucas was a true example of character and class. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mrs. Lucas and Family,
Out thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Luke and all the activities that all of us enjoyed with him. Ski trips out west and golf tourneys in the Burgh. Finally, I can still picture in my mind all of the great Lucas family photo's with Mr. Luke and his wonderful happy smile.
Sincerely, John McGowan

Ellie--Our prayers have been and continue to be that God will be your source for comfort!! We so enjoyed being able to visit with you on the phone last evening-and we hope to visit you in person when we are in Pittsburgh Mon. and Tues Nov.22 and 23. Much Love, J&J

I will always remember Dave as one of the happiest people I ever met, which is why these past couple of years have been so hard to watch. My most vivid memory of Dave is as captain of the Paddle team, literally cackling next to Joe Schmitt as Joe handed out the annual awards at the Paddle Party. Dave, we'll miss you, but now you can laugh again.

A neat guy who had a great life. The last couple of years were difficult, but he's finally at peace. Our love and prayers go out to Miss Blessing's wonderful family.
