David Robert Ludwick

1946 - 2017

Dec. 13, 1946-Jan. 1, 2017 After a year long, courageous battle with an aggressive form of ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease, David Robert Ludwick went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the morning of January 1, 2017. He was born to Robert and Dawn Ludwick on December 13, 1946 in Bellingham, WA. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vira; daughter, Jayna and son-in-law, Tim; son, Bryan and daughter-in-law, Kristen; his sister, Merry; aunt, Corinne Lloyd; uncle, David Griffith; in-laws, Harold and Grace Ojala, John (Teresa), Bruce (Gretchen); and many more dearly loved cousins, nieces, and nephews. David Ludwick was a chiropractor for 44 years and was still working at Bothell Chiropractic Clinic until the end of 2015. He loved the Lord with his whole heart and continued to witness to those around him, including his nurses. Dave had a caring nature that touched all who knew him. He deeply loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed living in the Pacific Northwest, whether it was canoeing or sailing or taking trips to the Oregon Coast with family. A memorial service will be held at Berean Bible Church (2345 N 185th St., Shoreline, WA 98133) for Dave's friends and family on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 1pm. Light refreshments will be provided at the reception to follow. We would like to thank all of our family, friends and Dave's patients for their thoughts, prayers, and continued support throughout this difficult time.
