I can remember how heartsick I was when I read the note on his business' door. David was a good and honorable businessman. He always treated me and everyone else with the deepest sense of respect and dignity. When I drive by his shop on North Main Street, I still think of him. I dealt with David over the years - he was a wonderful merchant and even better man. I recently passed the shop and noticed it was closed. Today, I walked past it and saw the sad news on the door. My prayers go out to David and his family.
