Not sure what to say?

Dave was a great friend and magnificent scholar. When I arrived at Air University in 1990 to begin work on the SAASS curriculum, he kindly invited me to participate in his military hsitory seminar, which he concucted for the Air Force research fellows accredited to CADRE. There he gave me my first serious introduction to Thucydides and impressed me with both the breadth and profundity of his scholarship. He will be deeply missed.

I am proud to call David my friend

Rest in Peace Uncle D. You will be missed

What a wonderful man! I always admired his brilliance and consider it a great honor to have had him as both a mentor and good friend. RIP MacI!

Col. MacIsaac was a superb teacher who was a major influencer in the lives of history majors in my class at USAFA ('77). RIP, sir.
