Dear Heather and Patrick,

My memories of your dad are from many, many years ago, when he was still married to your mom, Helena. I remember his love of life and how much he loved his family. I know things weren't always perfect, and I pray you are doing well.

I can't imagine how hard it is for you to lose him so young. My sons, Shaun and Eddie, were able to be in Weymouth for the funeral, and the overflowing support was overwhelming.

David was a good Jake and him becoming an officer inspired me to become one as well. He also worked with Kevin and Larry in our construction business and was an excellent carpenter.I followed his Mayoral career as Weymouth was always my hometown. May you rest easy "Harpo" Larry Young
