Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of the death of Dave Maloney. He was a great artist and one of the teachers who influenced me to become an artist. He was my art teacher at East junior high school in about 1967. I later took summer school art from him at Great Falls high school between 9th and 10th grade. I also took a watercolor painting class and a drafting class from him at Great Falls adult education one year. All of these classes helped me a great deal and I was lucky to have had him for a...

I am so sorry to read of Dave's passing. My friendship with his wife Margie dates back to high school. I met Dave when the three of us attended college in Billings. I have two of Dave's wonderful paintings hanging in my living room and I will cherish them and the memories of our visits so long ago. Love, Marie

Jared and our son Noel have been very close friends for 42 years. Ever since the 4th grade. So, over the years Jared would sometimes would share a few of some loving stories and thoughts he had of his Dad. He obviously was a wonderful man and loved very much.
All our prayers and love go out to Margie, Jason and Jared ❤

Mr. Maloney was my incredibly patient art teacher in 7th Grade at East Jr. High in 1968. I thank him for trusting us with sharp carving tools at that reckless age. Godspeed Mr. Maloney.

Mr Maloney was an incredible teacher. I was in his classes and Art club from 1973-75. I learned not only the techniques of art, but that compassion and understanding are the true elements of a classroom community. I felt so fortunate to have had him as my art teacher. Joanne Morris Gores.
