I first met Dave back in the spring of 2005. Kay was still with him at the time. I am an insurance agent (Medicare) and was helping them navigate (appropriate term relative to Dave and Kay) through the Medicare maze and would go on to meet with him every year. What should have been 45 to 60 minute appointments would end up going much longer. Talking with him and listening to his history could be an adventure. I'm just a bit shell shocked at the moment. Dave and I grew up together in Roseville. We lived 3 houses apart and graduated from High School together. We also got shared a apartment for a semester at Eastern Michigan University. We lost contact while I went into the Army and. Dave we sailing. We got back in contact before his wife passed away. We visited b back and forth between Washington State and Florida. He ended his messages to me with "your oldest friend" and we were just that. Norman MacLellan

When we decided to move a business and our young family to Anacortes, Dave and Kay stepped up and became our first friends. They were so supportive and helpful, opening their hearts to us. We will always remember them fondly.
