MOUNT ZION - David Mancha, 40, of Mt. Zion, IL, formerly of Fort Worth, Texas passed away at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. The family will gather for a visitation from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion, IL. A vigil prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Oliver Mancha Educational Fund c/o Hickory Point Bank and Trust. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com. David was born February 28, 1969, in Uvalde, Texas the son of David and Delia Mancha. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1994. He worked as a business analyst for ADM. He married his college sweetheart, Stacey Harris on October 16, 1993. Surviving is his wife: Stacey Harris-Mancha of Mt. Zion, IL, son: Oliver Mancha of Mt. Zion, IL, parents: David and Delia Mancha of Austin, Texas, sister: Sandra Vega and husband John of Austin, Texas. Mother and Father-in-law: Harold Harris of Mt. Zion, IL and Pam Harris of Decatur, IL, sister-in-law: Deanna Little and husband John and family of Mt. Zion, IL, brother-in-law: David Harris and wife Cyndi of Dubai, UAE. David, When I am with you, all my troubles melt, all my joy rises. You don't realize how beautiful, how lovely you are. "Stacey and Oliver, I am deeply saddened by the loss. Though we never met I am sure Arnold was a great Friend, Husband and Father. I am happy to know he has a loving family and knowing he left a happy man. David, Delia, Sandy I am sorry for the loss of a Son and Brother. I was touched when I received the news of Arnold's passing, as if it was yesterday and the childhood memories were never gone. It greatly saddened me to learn that David had passed so suddenly. He was one of the few exceptionally kind and smart individuals I had had the pleasure of working with in recent years. Stacey and Oliver, Though we only met David one time , we remember his smile and charm, He must have been a very special person for God to need him so soon.
